Looking for a SnapInspect alternative? Invendoory is a property inspection app that scores real installed items and sends problems straight into work orders and turns.
SnapInspect describes itself as a property inspection app and software for property managers, real estate professionals and inspectors. Its site lists iPhone, iPad and Android apps plus a web version, and says you can run inspections online or offline. It offers custom branded reports, side-by-side comparisons and multi-language reports.
Its integrations page names Rent Manager, AppFolio, Yardi, Propertyware, Entrata, Rentvine, Guesty, Vantaca, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. Its pricing page lists Essential, Premium and Enterprise plans with unlimited inspections and a 14-day free trial.
It also serves far more than apartments: home inspections, vacation rentals, student housing, commercial property and fleet inspection. If you need offline inspections, a native app or inspection forms across several industries, SnapInspect covers that and Invendoory does not. For another inspection-first tool, see the Zinspector alternative comparison.

Invendoory’s inspections read from the unit’s inventory. You walk a site or a unit on your phone, answer each item, add timestamped photos and watch the score update live.
Templates start from a working operator’s forms: a Quarterly Site Inspection, an Annual Unit Inspection and a Quick unit check. An inventory-verification pass lets the inspector confirm each item or flag a wrong make, model or serial. See inspections.
A low rating raises an area of concern automatically. One step converts it into a work order or a turn task, pre-filled with type, item and priority where the app is confident.
Requests and work orders share one list with one lifecycle, from Requested through Complete. A tech completing a replacement writes the new make, model, serial, value and warranty back to the item. See work orders.
The Invendoory Items search finds any item by make, model, serial, color or vendor across the portfolio. The By model view lists every unit with a given make and model, which helps when a recall notice arrives.
Each item shows life used, a warranty badge and Repair, Monitor or Replace guidance from fixed age and condition rules. SnapInspect lists asset tracking, and we cannot tell from its pages how deep its item records go, so ask for a demo of that feature.
Both are inspection apps. They differ in reach and in what the inspection connects to.
Invendoory has no integrations with any property management system. It does not connect to Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, Entrata or Buildium. You can import units from their exported spreadsheets, and the team can convert your item-level inventory workbooks as a service, but nothing syncs automatically.
It is a responsive web app, not a native or offline app. It needs a connection and runs in your phone’s browser with nothing to install. Sign-in is email and password or an emailed link, with no SSO. Chargebacks are recorded, not billed, and there is no accounting sync.
SnapInspect’s pricing page lists three plans: Essential, Premium and Enterprise. It shows no dollar amounts, offers a 14-day free trial, and says billing is monthly with no long-term contracts. Enterprise is a custom quote.
Invendoory publishes its prices. Basic is $89 per month with 50 units included and $3.00 for each additional unit. Advanced is $350 per month with 300 units included and $1.00 for each additional unit. Advanced costs less once you pass 137 units. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Its site says inspections can run online or offline on mobile devices. Invendoory does not have an offline mode. It is a responsive web app that needs a connection, and it runs in your phone’s browser with nothing to install. If you work in dead zones, that matters.
No. SnapInspect lists both on its integrations page. Invendoory has no integrations with any property management system. You can import units from an AppFolio or Buildium spreadsheet export, and the team can convert your inventory workbooks as a service.
SnapInspect inspects through customizable checklists across many property types. Invendoory inspects the units’ installed items, so a low score points to a specific item that can become a work order or a turn task. See the rental inspection checklist.
Yes, through its templates and the Quick unit check, which is a one-unit pass or fail. Move-out charges can be prorated by item with the Prorate Calculator. Invendoory records chargebacks but does not bill residents. See the move-in move-out checklist.
SnapInspect does not show prices on its pricing page, so we cannot compare numbers. Invendoory Basic is $89 per month with 50 units included and Advanced is $350 per month with 300 units included. Request a SnapInspect quote and compare.
